I thought of you today
as I stood in my kitchen
peeling eggs for egg salad
watching “this is us”
(i love that show)
and contemplating the rest of my day

I had my time planned out
but plans changed for a variety of reasons
my afternoon appointment cancelled
and my evening networking event isn’t until 6
so I “had time” to watch it

here’s my take away

the distinctions of “time”
next time – expectation of time
out of time – the realization there is no more time
all the time – with frequency
all the time in the world – next time’s cousin
